Ingun Alette Mæhlum (born 1973) is a documentary photographer based in Tromso in Northern Norway. She studied Photojournalism at Oslo University College 1995-1997, and has been working as a photographer in the arctic area ever since. In 2015 she attended VI Masterclass Milan. She is taking on assignments for magazines and newspapers, as well as working on personal projects. In 2013 she published the book Barents Portraits – A Journey Across Borders together with journalist Arne Egil Tonset, where they told everyday stories from the northern parts of Russia, Sweden, Finland and Norway. She has a warm heart for the north.
